Covered In This Course:

Focus – being able to focus on the handler and filter out distractions

Impulse Control – manage frustrations and task switch

Heelwork – not pulling on the lead

Recall – coming back to the whistle

Steadiness – remain seated for extended durations, without the handler and ignoring distractions

Retrieving – building drive and developing delivery

Hunting Pattern (Spaniel/HPR breeds) – quartering and turn whistle

Entry Requirements:

No prior training required

For the benefit of your own dog, plus everyone else in the class, dogs must be relaxed around other dogs. They should be able to settle within a few minutes and not bark continuously. They should not show signs of reactivity/aggression towards other dogs

You should be physically capable of restraining your dog on a lead

Please do not book a space on this course if your dog cannot reliably demonstrate the above (in an outdoor setting and around other dogs). If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.

Minimum Age of Dogs: 4 months (on the date the course begins)

Small Class Sizes: max 7 dogs
